ABOUT ROMMIE
Rommie Buhler is a qualified physical therapist that has studied numerous healing modalities over the past 30 years. Rommie is a firm believer that emotional and mental health is tightly tied to our physical health and to only treat the physical issue is a short term, bandaid fix. She has developed her own system-- Myosomatechs to align and heal the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
Rommie has spent her 50+ years playing sport, exercising, coaching, teaching mixed movement and energy medicine and has long held an interest in the human body-- including all things movement, nutrition, emotional and mental health and healing, energy flow, our connection with the natural world and our higher selves.
Her learnings are broad and she doesn't practise all, but she does for now practise Myosomatechs. Rommie's background:

WHAT IS MYOSOMATECHS
What is a Myosomatechs Treatment
A Myosomatechs Treatment is a system designed to relax, support and align muscles, ligaments, tendons as well as the emotional and mental energy flow throughout the body. Very often when emotional and mental energy is blocked it will present into the physical body. To allow the physical body to heal and realign, this energy must be brought back into balance.
Myosomatechs is a simple, non-invasive technique designed to relax contracted soft tissues that may be putting uneven strains on various vertebrae in the spine. When muscles are in spasm, joint spaces can be narrowed and nerves trapped in the spasmed fibres. The ligaments that join muscles to bones each have a channel to move in. If these ligaments are not in their correct channel, they become inflamed and swollen, causing pain. By working on specific points, it is possible to relax muscles and using finger pressure to realign ligaments in their correct channels.
As part of this system, the energy lines and centres (aka meridians, chakras, etc) of the body will be assessed and balanced during the session. This is also a non-invasive part of the process that will help re-establish energy flow and integrate the treatment.

Myosomatechs can assist with many things and like anything, as our make up is unique to us, a session will be received in a way that your body will take the treatment up. The number of sessions you require is very dependent on the severity of problem, your body's innate ability to take up treatment and heal and certain other factors. Myosomatechs is not a cure all or magic bullet, but it can assist with some of the following when added to your health routine:

Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED TO TAKE MY CLOTHES OFF?
WILL MYOSOMATECHS CURE ME?
Myosomatechs has the ability to help relieve pain, repair soft tissue problems, improve stress, emotional health issues, etc but really there are no miracle cures to all problems, illnesses, injuries or ailments. I do not promote this as the magical cure all.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
That is not an easy question to answer as our bodies , injuries, health concerns are individual to us. So depending on that, you may require 3 sessions, or it could be 8 or more, it is difficult to give certainty to that answer. A weekly session is helpful until your body fully aligns, after that you could add it to your monthly self care and maintenance program.
DO I NEED TO BE AWARE OF ANYTHING AFTER A TREATMENT?
Yes, it is advised that following a Treatment:
- Do not sit for more than one hour at a time without getting up and moving around.
- Do not sit in a cold draught or go swimming in cold water for 12 hours following treatment.
Do not use any form of heat on body for 12 hours following treatment, eg no hot bath or shower. - When sitting - sit straight with both feet on the floor and body facing the front (not twisted to the side).
Experience has shown that any of these things appear to bring fluid to the area treated and can float the soft tissues out of their normal position.
